Top 5 Disney Snacks, other than Dole Whip or Mickey Bars

We all know and agree that yes Dolewhip, Mickey bars, and pretzels are the best. The usual expected snacks that are super yummy. Here are some that are a bit less known and are flipping amazing.

1. Lefou's Brew with Cinnamon Roll- Gaston's Tavern, Magic Kingdom

This drink was my favorite and my sons. It is a frozen apple juice with toasted marshmallow and had mango foam on top. On a hot summer day this really hit the spot and help cooled my son down. The cinnamon roll was huuuuge, and so filling. This is a great way to start your day at the park.

2. Sweet & Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich - Sleepy Hollow, Magic Kingdom
This treat is definitely spicy! I got to take part in this treat while my son napped. The sandwich is a fried chicken breast that is nice and crispy dredged in an Asian sauce. There is a great slaw and arugula paired to cool down the spice. Do have a drink near by and keep in mind that this is a bit unpleasant in the heat, however I enjoyed it.

3. Make-Your-Own Crispy Treats - Goofy's Candy Company, Downtown Disney/Disney Springs

(picture thanks to http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/)

This is a fun experience. My son loved picking what he could have on this Mickey shaped rice crispy treat. It was super delicious and you get to watch them make it.

4. Anything and Everything from Karamell Kuche - Germany Pavilion, Epcot.
My favorite pavilion in Epcot is the German pavilion. The food and atmosphere is amazing. The Karmell Kuche has the most amazing caramel I have ever had, and they dip everything in it! My favorite was the pinwheel which was caramel rolled with cream to make this amazing spiral.

5. Pressed Brioche Ice-cream Sandwiches - L'Artisan des Glaces, Epcot
(Picture from Disney Food Blog)
Check out Disney Food Blogs post on this snack!

This is a chewy amazing bomb of ice-cream. The sandwich is warmed up from the hot press and it is such a heavenly pairing with cold ice-cream.

Boscia Pore Purifying Black Strips VS The Drug Store Brand

If you're like me then you ride the big pore struggle bus. With these huge pores, comes unavoidable black heads. I recently saw one of my favorite bloggers (TheTimTracker) Tim and Jen use these Boscia Pore strips. I had already ordered some during the friends and family sale and was so excited to give them a whirl. The impatient side of me ran out and purchase a less expensive box at a local drug store.

Here is some comparisons to help you decide... Is it worth it?

Price
Boscia- $28
per strip- $2.33

Biore-$8
per strip- $.57

Application
Boscia- The shape was misleading. I honestly thought the other brand would fit better but the Boscia one fit perfectly into the sides of my nose. I have a huge nose, the Boscia really covered everything I needed. It did take longer to dry.

Biore- Again, huge nose, This strip did not get all of the sides of my nose. It also seemed to burn a little where as the Boscia did not.

Removal
Boscia- It's like waxing your nose, it hurts. I definitely had tears welling up. It did pull a lot out of my pores as well. Overall a more pleasant experience.

Biore- This was hell. I cried so hard and my boyfriend thought I was bleeding it made my nose so red. We tried these out at night in bed watching tv so the lighting wasn't very good. I had to stop midway through it hurt so bad. The strip also left behind a lot of black stuff all over my nose. It did pull stuff out of my pores but the experience was not worth it.

Final Thoughts
I will probably keep the Boscia strips in my cabinet and use them once a month. There really is no need to torture yourself every week. I spaced both of these applications out to get a real true experience with both. I will never... ever... use the Biore strips again after the pain I felt with that application.

GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD CLEARING TREATMENT

So recently I have taken up a mission to destroy the black head party that has been going on all around my face. The Supermud mask seemed to be a cure all for this. I have now had 3 masks on this week with one day rest in-between and here is my take on it.

Day 1: Holy wow this burns. After my first mask there was no night and day difference. I get it, this isn't jesus mud. I did notice that my skin tone was a tad more even. Also my skin was dried out, I doubled up on the moisturizer.

Day 2: Same thing as before. The only difference was the next morning I had 4 small white heads around my forehead.

Day 3: Shocker, more dry skin. Lots of stuff seems to be pulling out of my pores. Some people claim this is "purging." I am not by any means an esthetician, I don't know if this is a lie we tell ourselves to power through products that we throw money at.

End Cap: I am going to give this mask another week or two, I really want it to work. Meanwhile I am cleaning my makeup brushes more, drinking more water, touching my face less, and the major on SANITIZE MY CELL PHONE. Seriously sanitize those things, they are a germ pool resting on your face.

If anyone wants to see how the iPhone 6s improved their front facing camera, here is some examples. Super impressed.

Coming Soon The Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Ever since I began my journey in Disney planning, I have been in love with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Coming September 8th the application process begins. I have not personally been able to apply... until now! So here is somethings that I have researched to keep in mind while applying

  • You do not need to be in a traditional "mom" role. You can be a Dad, Grandma, Aunt, and so on.
  • Grammer is life.
  • Read all the fine print.
  • Be yourself and let your personality shine
  • This is a long haul process.
  • Double-triple-dog check all your facts.
  • Just google search other moms application process's

I will be keeping this up to date on my experience as I apply. Below is a fun video to get ready.

Round One of the Disney Parks Moms Panel Search begins at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, and will remain open until noon ET on Tuesday, September 15, 2015.

Disney Characters That Won't Sign

Get your little one prepared for every character experience possible. One of the ways is to set expectations. There is nothing more disappointing for a child than to be shot down by their hero, so give them heads up going in that this character can't sign their book but is really excited to meet them.

Beast- Incapable
Buzz Lightyear- Stamps
Dance Parties- No signing while dancing
King Louie- Incapable
Lightning Mcqueen- Incapable
Mater- Incapable
Mike Wazowski- Incapable
Sully- Incapable
Vanellope- Pre-signed Photopass
Hiro & Baymax- Pre-signed Photopass

The "My Disney Experience" App and Apps for Your Disney Vacation Planning

I wanted to help some of the parents who are starting in or already in their disney planning. You can use these on both your iPad and iPhone. Here are some of the apps that I utilized while on my vacation.

The "My Disney Experience" app(above) is amazing! I used this every day before my vacation during my planning.
Here is what Disney says it can do

The "Shop Disney Parks" App is my new favorite app. Not only will this be good for setting a budget on souvenirs, you can buy them after your trip. Going into a gift shop with a small child is stressful, things get missed. Don't be buand birthdays are going to be awesome with this app!

Trying The New Vlogging Camera - Canon G7X

After much deliberation, I finally landed on a camera for my blogging/ blogging. I stalked Youtube watching video after video on both the Canon G7X and the Sony Mark III. After watching the Tim Tracker purchase and use both I finally made the jump. I watched probably ten cameras on eBay before bidding on one. I also sold my dslr because lets be honest I have no idea how it worked and its way too big to carry around out and about.

The picture quality is amazing. One feature I love is creative shot. Here is one click on creative sho

My Shampoo Obsession: Curly Wurly

Just to start off, I have somewhat curly wavy hair. At times it is like a puff of cotton candy. This shampoo has gotten me so many compliments that it is now my front runner in my hair care routine.

In the begging of my relationship with this shampoo I purchased it, used it once, and let it sit in my shower unloved for months. It wasn't until I ran out of my Living Proof shampoo that I decided to give this shampoo another try. That day I received two compliments on how smooth and healthy my hair looked. I blow dry and straighten my hair and this shampoo made it a dream to style it.

When using this shampoo make sure your hair is super wet. If your hair is damp this shampoo will NOT lather. Also make sure to rinse your hair well, I have shed coconut flakes after showering.

Here is Lush's description on this product:
Curly hair needs lots of moisturizing, especially those dry, frizzy ends. You’re in luck! Curly Wurly shampoo keeps unruly and out-of-control curls soft, shiny and bouncy. How does it do it? It's packed full of creamed coconut and coconut oil to moisturize dry, frizzy hair, and protein-rich fresh eggs and hand mashed avocado butter to hydrate, add shine and eliminate frizz. Fresh, nutritious ingredients work wonders for frizzy hair. Give it a Wurl
